Security Issues
In response to requests from some members of the family I have arranged for information about living members not to be shown in the family trees and the one-name databases.
I fully understand that for some this restriction reduces the value of the site as a resource in researching their family history.
If this is true in your case please email me with specific questions and I will try to answer them without breaching confidentiality. It would help if you could give me some information that would help establish your own bona fides, perhaps by having another member with whom I am familiar provide confirmation of your connection with “the clan”.
The information provided on the site - including whether a person is labeled “living” or otherwise - is given in good faith and has been verified to the best of my ability. If you find any inaccuracies please let me know as soon as possible and I will correct them. I apologise for any embarrassment that might be caused by errors but do not accept any responsibility for misuse of the information contained on the site.
I welcome any further data that you could provide.
