Names are arranged in alphabetical order of Forenames
In the column headed “Code” is an entry unique to each individual. These codes are consistent across the three databases

e.g. If you are looking at, say, Albert in the Birth index, born 1902, code XAlb01 then checking the other indexes shows that he was married in 1932 and died in 1961. There are other Alberts in the databases but since the code is the same the entries relate (as far as I can ascertain) to the same person.
The indexes are Excel files and can be copied and sorted in the usual ways.
